Do Your Goals Have Enough Gravity?

Big goals are not only more fun and exciting; they carry more weight than small ones. Ambitious, serious, “weighty goals” have attraction power.
They attract others into the process and magnetize ideas and resources. Big goals pull you along. They pull you through the difficult times and help you remain diligent. They inspire you to greater innovation and effective action.
I’m not a scientist, but from what I understand, the bigger the mass, the greater the gravity. Larger planets like Jupiter have more gravitational pull than Earth because of their greater mass.
And so it is with our goals and dreams. The bigger they are, the more they tend to attract what’s needed for their fulfillment.
And it’s not just the SIZE of the goal that matters. It’s how important it is—how badly you want it. Your passion and your desire infuse your goals with magnetism.
An inspiring goal that benefits many will grow in size and weight. And the greater the good, the bigger the goal.
Let’s say you have a goal to improve your credit rating. It’s not that big of a goal, but it’s a worthy one. Your credit report impacts your ability to obtain loans—even your job opportunities. But when you realize that a higher credit rating could save tens of thousands of dollars because of lower mortgage rates, it becomes a much more important goal. It gains weight because you see how it affects the livelihood of you andyour family. It’s emotionally charged.
What about starting a business? You’ve always wanted to own your own enterprise. Another good goal.
But when you have a VISION for your business, when you write a business plan and launch the enterprise, your goal becomes serious. Everything and everybody pays attention to it. It begins to draw to itall that’s needed to bring it to fruition.
We are unlimited in what we can choose to achieve. But our time IS limited. We must think carefully about what we really want and why we want it. This way, we can choose wisely and invest our time andenergy in goals worthy of our best efforts.
When we do this, we become aligned with our goals. By choosing and working toward weighty, worthy goals, we allow their magnetism to work in our favor. They’re easier and more fun to achieve. There’s lessfrustration and faster progress.
Make sure your goals have gravity.

A knife placed under the bed during childbirth will ease the pain of labor.
A knife as a gift from a lover means that the love will soon end.
Ivy growing on a house protects the inhabitants from witchcraft and evil.
If your nose itches Your mouth is in danger. You'll kiss a fool, And meet a stranger. Rub an itch to wood It will come to good.
If your nose itches you will soon be kissed by a fool.
A horseshoe hung in the bedroom will keep nightmares away.
Pulling out a gray or white hair will cause ten more to grow in its place.
Shed no blood on Good Friday, work no wood, hammer no nail.
A person who dies on Good Friday will go right to heaven.
Cut your hair on Good Friday to prevent headaches in the year to come.
A child born on Good Friday and baptized on Easter Sunday has a gift of healing. If a boy, he should go into the ministry.
The dried body of a frog worn in a silk bag around the neck averts epilepsy and other fits.
A frog brings good luck to the house when it enters.
Never start to make a garment on Friday unless you can finish it the same day.
You should never start a trip on Friday or you will meet misfortune.
A bed changed on Friday will bring bad dreams.

Welcome to Flo's Biz & Fun
With the rise of online video, several video portals have gained tremendous popularity... creating a situation where You can get a lot of FREE exposure for your own online videos and your website.
In fact, one of the sites I talk about in the article below has a national TV show that does nothing but play web videos to millions of viewers.
Online video is a phenomenon that can't be ignored... it's taking over the Internet, and creating a situation where someone with a video camera and a good idea can compete with companies operating with million dollar budgets.

If you didn't realize that video will take over online this year, you haven't been paying attention.
Everything from video blogs to full-blown website infomercials keep cropping up all across the Internet.
The driving force behind this video explosion is a combination of cheap bandwidth, easy-to-use authoring tools, and Flash video (a video format that works on both PC and MAC).
With the sudden increase in homemade videos about everything from "how-to break dance" to infomercials about real estate products, it seems only natural that another explosion should follow: the appearance of numerous websites that showcase these homegrown Steven Spielberg's.
In fact, these online videos have gained so much popularity some have even crossed over into mainstream television.
Of the three main online video hosting services I looked at, they all shared the following characteristics.
They all allow you to upload your video and host it free of charge, making it super easy for even the most technically challenged videographer.
They all allow visitors to search their sites using keywords, so describing your video and choosing a good title (with keywords people search for) will help increase your exposure.
One of the most exciting features common to these sites is that they allow you and others to get copy-and-paste code that you can place on a blog or website (or anywhere else you can paste html code) and display a video without hosting it yourself.
This one feature can cause an explosive "viral" effect if you create a video that appeals to a mass audience because people can not only pass it along, but post it in additional locations for everyone to see.
Video.Google.com - Google's video service makes it possible to upload and play your videos for people searching through their growing catalog of homegrown video.
You'll find everything from web-cam karaoke to infomercials and "live" seminars. One of the best things about Google video is the daily report about how many pages views your video got during the previous day or week.
Also, Google allows you to charge for your videos if you want, something the other sites don't yet offer.
A disadvantage of the service is that, of the three, Google Video takes the longest to approve your videos and make them available, sometimes taking 48 hours or longer to make a video "live."
YouTube.com - YouTube seems to want to foster a feeling of community with its video portal.
Unlike Google Video, which requires a separate software program to upload video, YouTube allows users to upload video right through their website interface. Of the three sites profiled here, YouTube's embedded player makes it easiest to share and pass along video from a blog.
They also approved my video and had it live online in less than 10-minutes.
IFilm.com - The coolest thing about IFilm.com is the fact that they have a show on VH1 every Friday called "Web Junk 20" which features the funniest web videos of the week on real television.
They also actively promote the concept of "viral videos" with a separate category in their directory profiling videos you want to share.
The only negative was that their pass-along player forces viewers to watch a short ad about IFilm at the beginning, something the other two don't do.

I call this little tidbit, my four keys to making long term income online. It's not fancy, it's not flashy, it just works!
Number 1 - You Have To Spend Money!
I know we have been bombarded with free offer after free offer, but whether it's an investment of time, or an investment with money, you have to 'invest'. This is a business, and a business cannot grow without some capital. Plus, if you are investing in your future, it makes sense to invest in your business.
Number 2 - You Have To Meet New People!
It's time to put the 'network' back into this business. Case in point, in any industry on the planet, your networking skills will help you build a solid foundation for your business. Go to the forums, go to the seminars (there's one tonight, details are above), invest in an off-line conference, use the phone, just get in front of as many people as you can. It makes a difference!
Number 3 - You Must Have Patience!
On the internet, we are told of instant riches, and success in 90 days or less. Forget about it. Remember, this is long term income we want here, not a quick fifty bucks. You must have patience with your online business. This is the only industry on the planet where success is 'demanded' in weeks and months, not years. It just cannot happen, most off-line businesses take 2-4 years to turn a profit, it should be no different online. Take your time, there is no rush!
Number 4 - The Dirty 4 Letter Word...Work!
I know, I know...The images of sitting back with your feet up, sleeping in until noon, drinking pina coladas on the beach....It's a myth! You must roll up your sleeves and put in work. Again, this is a business, it takes effort. Do not be scared of it, it's a very rewarding experience when you start to see returns for your hard work!

Take those four points as you wish, all I ever write about is what I have experienced. These things have worked for me, and trust me, I'm not a 'special person'. I was flipping pizzas only 4 short years ago, working on minimum wage. I did not plan on getting rich overnight and I did not give up my day job until I was certain I could supplement it. The internet is a great way to earn a living... However, you have to earn it and that is what so many do not realize with an online business!

Clairvoyants use mandrake to increase their visions to enable them to see strange and wonderful things.
Mandrake is thought to have aphrodisiac and fertilizing properties.

To dream of a lizard is a sign that you have a secret enemy.
Lettuce promotes child bearing if eaten by young women, and certain types of salad can bring on labor in pregnant women.
Lettuce is believed to have magical and healing properties, including the power to arouse love and counteract the effects of wine.
If you catch a falling leaf on the first day of autumn you will not catch a cold all winter.
A cricket in the house brings good luck.
Counting Crows: One's bad, Two's luck, Three's health, Four's wealth, Five's sickness, Six is death.
Pick a dandelion that has gone to seed. Take a deep breath and blow the seeds into the wind. Count the seeds that remain on the stem. That is the number of children you will have.

The temperature was -27 when I got up at 7:30 this morning, that's cold !!! This year we had a couple of days that went that low so we
had a mild winter but tons of snow!

And, there on television, she said it was "exciting." Regarding body changes, she said there were many, occurring every day... like her breasts. They seem to be in a race to see which will reach her waist, first.
The audience laughed so hard they cried. She is such a simple and honest woman, with so much wisdom in her words!

I frequently get similar questions from viewers and subscribers all over the world.
They often ask me "Jim, what do you think of So-and-So's product?" or "How does So-and-So's product compare to your product?" or "Should I buy So-and-So's product?"
Typically these questions are about physical products, software or information products.
People ask for my opinion not only because I write a newspaper column, but also because I've produced and sold tens-of-thousands of products to people all around the world for the past nine years.
Bottom line: people want a clear, concise "yardstick" against which to measure any online purchase so they never feel ripped off.
Let me say right up front that I believe 100% in free-market competition and that having multiple products and perspectives on the same topic ultimately improves any marketplace for everyone.
I thank the Firefox browser and Linux operating system for getting Microsoft off its gigantic backside and addressing some serious issues.
But, with so many new products coming to market online, everyone must operate with a simple, effective criteria for evaluating any offer, especially in the business arena.
Let me offer you the exact same 2-part benchmark I use to evaluate any business offering that crosses my desktop.
This will help you avoid getting caught up in the "hysteria" of the moment and buying on impulse, rather than on careful thought.
Part #1 - I ask myself this question: Do I really need this in my business or is this just something "new" for the sake of something new?
If I realize that I'm just getting sucked into the "try something new" mentality, I put the purchase on hold for 48 hours to "cool off."
If I honestly decide I need the product, then I move on to part 2.
Par #2 - I ask myself this question: Has the person selling me this software, product or course actually DONE (more than once) what they are selling me "how to" do - and can they prove it?
If someone sells a piece of software, I want to know how much time it saved, how much money it saved, how much effort it helped avoid, and how much money was made as a result of using it - and I want proof!
Let me simply repeat the mantra of the classic Wendy's commercial from the 1980's: "Where's the beef?"
If someone tries to sell you a piece of software that claims to get 10,000 visitors to your site, ask to see screen shots of their server logs and sales in their merchant account.
If someone tries to sell you a course on creating website video, ask how many money-making videos they've put online over the years (ask for specific URLs) and run like heck if their personal website doesn't have the first video on it (or if they just put one up this week)!
You'll never go wrong if, before you buy anything online, you demand concrete, demonstrable proof that lives up to the claims made by the person or company selling it.
In the immortal words of Ronald Reagan, "Trust but verify!"

Not a day goes by that any serious website owner doesn't wonder how to get more traffic to their site.
This intense desire to generate more clicks makes virtually any online entrepreneur easy prey to many of the traffic schemes and scams that pervade the Internet like conmen on acarnival midway.
Promises of fast traffic and big bucks often separate even the most savvy business person from their money because they want to believe the promises made by these traffichucksters.
However, rather than thinking "complicated equals better" in the traffic game, the best website traffic sources rate extremely easy to separate from the useless garbage traffic.
Fact: "Good Traffic" equals "Targeted Traffic!"
That means the visitors come as a result of desire to find out more on a specific, niche topic, not as a result of "exit" traffic or membership in a "safe" list where memberssimply pitch each other in an incestuous spam fest.

You then run ads with a link on those sites and any time someone clicks the link, you pay for the click through a relatively straightforward bidding process based on thepopularity of the keyword.
You can also buy links in ezines, newsletters, and on other people's website either on a per-click basis, for a period of time (a week or month), or in exchange for paying them a commission if a sale gets made as a result of a click onthe link.
** Linking "VoodDoo" **
Linking "voodoo" refers to attempting to manipulate the search engines into displaying links to your website.
You can find a large number of automated software programs online at any given time that will claim to help you get more search engine traffic.
Depending on the intensity of competition in a specific market, and the fact that search engines change their rules frequently, pursuing search engine links can quickly turn into the online equivalent of Alice chasing the rabbit downa hole to "Wonderland."

I personally prefer this method to get links to my websites: growing them.
The best type of link to get involves one person telling another person, either explicitly or implicitly, they should click the link and visit the site at the other end.
One way to do this is simply to exchange links with another site which targets the same audience as your site.

A search on Google.com for "reciprocal link manager software" yields a good start.

The reason articles work so well for "growing" links involves the numerous ways in which articles get distributed online, each of which can create dozens, hundreds, even thousands of different links back to your website bypublishing a single article.
As time goes by, and as the article spreads around, the number of links literally "grows" over time (but unlike a houseplant, you don't have to water an article!).
In fact, the following represent only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to all the places you can grow and expand the links to your site by publishing articles online.
~ Blogs - Your articles can not only appear on your own blog, but get posted by others on their blogs with surprising ease.
The links in these articles can point directly back to your website.
~ Article Directories - Article directories such as IdeaMarketers.com abound online.
They not only provide an easy way to display your articles to allow others to pick them up for posting on their websites, but also in and of themselves attract readerssearching for content.

Did you realize that thousands of website operators use a simple technique to generate targeted visitors to their websites without paying a dime in advertising? It's true.
